Teacher dies of ‍‍`heat stroke‍‍`

 

A local madrasah teacher died reportedly of a heat stroke at Kalurghat upazila in Chattogram district yesterday morning. The deceased was identified as Md Mostak Ahmed, 58, who hailed from the North Dhurung area under Kutubdia upazila in Cox's Bazar district. He lived in a rented house in Chandgao Mohra area in the port city and worked as a teacher at a local madrasah.

According to locals, Mostak suddenly fell unconscious when he was going to his workplace on a ferry around 9 am. Locals took him to Chattogram Medical College Hospital where the physicians declared him dead. It was assumed that he might have died from heat stroke but the actual reason behind his death could not be ascertained.
